Joining and Registration Overview

We are a family scouting organization accepting children of all backgrounds and faiths. Though we are chartered by St. James Catholic Church, scouts and their families do not need to be parish members. If you have other questions, please see our FAQ page or contact us at sjpack681@gmail.com.

New to Scouting?

If you and your child are new to the Cub Scouts, there are 3 steps necessary to join Pack 681.

  1. Register with Scouts BSA (formerly the Boy Scouts of America) national organization by filling out this form.
  2. Pay the annual dues for your scout (and optionally purchase a Pack 681 T-Shirt for yourself) on this page.
  3. Create a Scoutbook account for yourself. Scoutbook will be your primary electronic interaction with Scouts BSA and Pack 681. You can use it to track the advancement of your child through Cub Scouts, view the Pack 681 calendar, and communicate with the pack (and optionally your Den).

If you have any questions, please contact us at sjpack681@gmail.com.

Transferring to Pack 681?

If your child is already in the Cub Scouts, and you wish to transfer your child to Pack 681, please follow these steps:

  1. Please fill out our transfer from here.
  2. Pay the annual dues for your scout (and optionally purchase a Pack 681 T-Shirt for yourself) on this page.
  3. If you do not already have one, create an account on Scoutbook for yourself. We use Scoutbook to track the advancement of each scout, coordinate pack events and send-out communication.
